Vertigo Ventures, an impact reporting company, analysed the CSR and sustainability policies of the 10 largest global pharmaceutical companies. It found that the sector has yet to adopt impact measurement. “They report on outputs, such as vaccinations donated, where a more meaningful measure would be people vaccinated or lives saved,” says Laura Fedorciow, its managing director.
