Overview

Held as three two hour sessions, these will provide a quick overview of what impact is, why it is important and the key principles behind a 4* impact case study. It then provides a quick refresher of the VV-Impact Tracker software and while attendees get to login and create their research projects in VV-Impact Tracker. There is support from the trainer on how to use the software and discussions about what impact looks like for their research projects. The focus is to create at least one or two storyboards on VV-Impact Tracker per attendee.

Learning Outcomes:

• Attendees to gain a clear understanding of what impact is and what impact information funders are looking for
• Attendees to understand what impact might look like for their research projects and to what impact information they need to add into VV-Impact Tracker
• Attendees to feel comfortable using VV-Impact Tracker independently after the training session to help them track their impact and maximise ‘reach’ and ‘significance’.
